The best matcha in Australia Excellent!

I have been drinking matcha for a period of time and I can say that this matcha is the best quality.

      Patti, Australia

      Rich and flavorful!

The aroma of cherry greeted me as I was preparing to make a bowl of matcha. It was slightly and pleasantly more pronounced when I poured a little hot water over the sifted powder to create a paste. When I poured in the remaining water and whisked, I also caught a slight whiff of chocolate. I prepare it as usucha, more to be able to spend extra time (and more sips!) enjoying the matcha than anything else. It is wonderful — full of umami, complex flavors and a rich mouth feel!

This is the best matcha I have ever tasted. Hot or cold, it has a strong smooth flavour, creamy consistency, the most beautiful shade of vibrant green, and gives me plenty of jitter-free giddy up. I can't drink whatever stuff I was using before I discovered this brand. They do matcha to perfection. Love it. Mean it. Drink it.

Limited Edition: A Rare Gem in the World of Matcha

Introducing our Platinum Ceremonial Grade Uji Matcha, crafted from the exclusive, certified organic Ujihikari cultivar. Missing this window, the quality diminishes, making this matcha a truly rare and exceptional find.

      Hand-Picked Perfection

Each tea leaf is hand-picked carefully, ensuring only the finest leaves are selected. This meticulous process preserves the integrity of the tea leaves and guarantees the highest quality ceremonial grade matcha.

      Cultivation Methods: Honzu and Ooishita

Our tea plants are cultivated using traditional methods such as Honzu and Ooishita cultivation. These techniques involve shading the plants to protect the leaves from direct sunlight, enhancing their natural sweetness and umami. The Honzu method, in particular, uses organic reed and rice straw, creating a unique growing environment that dates back to the 16th century.

Ceremonial matcha is packed with antioxidants, particularly EGCG, which can boost metabolism and aid in detoxification. Consuming ceremonial matcha can enhance calmness and alertness due to its L-Theanine content, making it a popular choice for a mindful tea experience.

Ceremonial matcha represents the highest quality matcha powder, made from the youngest tea leaves, providing a smoother and more flavorful experience than culinary grade matcha. Ceremonial matcha is ideal for drinking, while lower grades are commonly used in cooking and baking.

Yes, ceremonial matcha is incredibly healthy. It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. The organic powder of ceremonial matcha helps in detoxification, boosts metabolism, and provides sustained energy. Its high content of EGCG has been linked to numerous health benefits, making it a valuable addition to a balanced diet.

In Japanese, ceremonial matcha is referred to as "ceremonial grade matcha" or simply "ceremonial matcha." It is a premium grade of matcha green tea powder, traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies. This authentic matcha powder is made from the finest tea leaves, ensuring a delicate and refined taste.

Yes, you can drink ceremonial matcha every day. However, it's important to moderate your intake due to its caffeine content. A daily serving of 1 to 2 teaspoons of ceremonial matcha is generally considered safe and beneficial for most people. This provides the health benefits of matcha without overconsuming caffeine.

Ceremonial matcha does contain caffeine, but its level is lower than that of coffee. A typical serving of ceremonial matcha has around 30-70 mg of caffeine. The presence of L-Theanine in ceremonial matcha ensures that the caffeine is released slowly, providing sustained energy without the jitters associated with other caffeinated beverages.
