• Bamboo matcha whisk (chasen): Used to whisk matcha into a smooth, creamy foam.

• Bamboo scoop (chashaku): Helps you measure consistent portions of matcha for each bowl or latte.

• Whisk holder (kusenaoshi): Supports the whisk between uses and helps maintain its shape over time.

Use the bamboo scoop (chashaku) to add 1–2 scoops of matcha (about 1–2 g) to your matcha bowl.
Pour 60–80 ml of hot water at around 70–80°C (158–176°F).
Hold the bamboo whisk near the base and whisk in a quick W or M motion, avoiding pressing hard into the bottom of the bowl.
Whisk until a fine layer of micro-foam appears on the surface.
Enjoy as usucha, or pour over milk to create a matcha latte.
When finished, place the whisk on the whisk holder to help it dry and maintain its shape.

With a bit of practice, you’ll be able to create café-style matcha in under a minute.

• Before first use: Rinse the whisk gently in warm water to remove any dust. Avoid soap.

• After each use (whisk): Rinse with warm water only. Do not use detergent or dish soap.

• Scoop care: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a lightly dampened cloth and dry immediately.

• No dishwasher: Do not place any of the tools in the dishwasher or leave them soaking in water.

• Drying: Gently shake off excess water from the whisk and allow it to air-dry in a well-ventilated area.

• Storage: Store the whisk on the whisk holder to help the prongs keep their curved shape. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity.
